14 to 16 October 2015: Intensive Workshop on Global Affairs (Deadline: 13th of September)
The Intensive Workshop on Global Affairs will be a three-day event, from 14 to 16 october 2015, open to PhD candidates, post-docs and young academics, held at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. It will promote the discussion of ongoing research work on International Relations and closely-related areas (such as Political Science, Law, Sociology, History and Economics).
The theme of the workshop will be Plural Societies, Democracy and Power Dynamics.
Apart from attending lectures and seminars, participants will have the opportunity to receive valuable feedback on their projects, papers or theses from their peers and from internationally renowned tutors. A social programme will allow the participants to discover the city of Porto.
Deadline for application to the workshop: 13th of September.
