Verlängerte Bewerbungsfrist: Infotainment & Safety Roles bei DENSO

Summer School in SibSAU

Siberian State Aerospace University offers a unique summer school programme “Mobile Systems for Space Research” for international students.

During the two-week course students attend intensive lectures and seminars concerning the principles of closed loop space system running. All lectures and seminars are given by experienced university professors and space professionals. As the result of the course the students will carry out an experiment in developing and constructing a moving device with a remote control in the sphere of space technology.

Lectures and seminars take place at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, Resource Centre of Foreign Languages, the Scientific and Training Centre, “Space Systems and Technologies”, the Industry Resource Centre “Space Vehicles and Systems”, the Centre of Space Monitoring and Students’ Space Mission Control Centre of Small Space Vehicles of SibSAU.
The following courses will form the content of the course on Mobile Systems for Space Objects:

Production and Control of Spacecraft (2 ECTS credits)

o   Unit 1. Fundamentals of Robot Mechanical Systems

o   Unit 2. Spacecrafts

o   Unit 3. Control Theory: Automatic Control Theory in Space Systems

o   Unit 4. Spacecraft Automation System Hardware

o   Unit 5. The Fundamentals of Image Processing

o   Unit 6. Methods of Production and Control of Spacecraft Systems

o   Unit 7. The Fundamentals of Artificial Neural Networks

o   Unit 8. Fuzzy logic

·        Artificial and Natural Systems (1 ECTS credits)

o   Unit 1. Fundamentals of Astronomical Research

o   Unit 2. The Physics of the Rover Systems and Mechanisms

o   Unit 3. Detecting Environmental Conditions

o   Unit 4. Structure and Functioning of Artificial and Natural Systems

·        Russian Language (1 ECTS credit)

To ensure effective work of the closed loop space systems one should be aware of how both natural and artificial ecosystems function. That is why along with lectures held in classrooms and laboratories devoted to the fundamentals of space technology, some seminars will be given in the open air where students will be able to see various types of artificial and natural species as a sample how complex systems function in natural conditions. Such classes will also give the students a good opportunity to admire the beauty of the Siberian nature.

Moreover, the programme includes presentations of the participants’ home countries and universities – the customs, cultural and historical heritage and traditional cuisine. This will allow the participants to develop cooperation and friendship.

On the final day of the summer school students will accomplish a final task “Mobile Systems for Space Research”. It is also the team development of a vehicle, which would be capable of autonomous navigation through the transect area. The aim of the task is to bring the model to the target using remote control, overcoming obstacles.

At the end of the course students will be awarded a certificate confirming participation in the programme and a transcript of records.

·        Dates: from 10 August till 23 August 2014.

·        Duration of the programme: 188 hours (103 contact hours + 85 h. of independent work) or 4 ECTS. 1 contact hour = 45 minutes.

·        Hours per week: 51,5 contact hours per week (excursions and independent work are excluded).

·        Aimed at: The course is suitable for undergraduate students who are interested in Computer Science and the Space Sector.

Green Start-up Summer School 4-6 June 2014, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland

The three-day program is designed for either those who are at the idea stage or those who have already started up.

The Green Start-up Summer School will be organized during the EU-Russia Innovation Forum on 4-6 June, 2014. The main topic of both events, the Forum and the Green Start-up Summer School, is green economy. Therefore, the idea or startup has to be somehow related to green business. Green Start-up Summer School is a brilliant opportunity for network not only with other start-upers, but also with international experts who participate in the forum.

The Green Start-up Summer School program will help take the business to the next level. Through a combination of structured workshops, mentorship sessions as well as active coaching, start-upers will crystallize their ideas and business plans and present their refined pitches to the judges. The summer school is tailored to address the needs of young entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into a new venture worthy of financial support.

The summer school concludes with start-up pitches to expert judges. Promising idea and brilliant pitch will be awarded!

The Green Start-up Summer School participation fee is EUR 295. The fee includes workshops and coaching sessions, accommodation with breakfast, bus transfers, meals, partly participation to the Innovation Forum plenary sessions, and a get-together party with Finnish sauna.

Go for Hightech 2014 – Exkursion zur Hannover Messe

Am 11. April 2014 veranstaltet Bosch Rexroth wieder das Event „Go for Hightech“ für alle technikinteressierten Studierenden und Absolventen.

Unter dem Motto „Go for Hightech – Neugierig auf die Zukunft?“ lädt Bosch Rexroth die Studierende zur Hannover Messe ein. Diese ist jedes Jahr die erste Adresse für alle, die sich nicht nur für neueste Technologien, Trends und Entwicklungen interessieren, sondern sich außerdem über Karrieremöglichkeiten informieren möchten.

Bosch Rexroth organisiert den Bustransfer nach Hannover, den Messeeintritt sowie die Verpflegung. Der Tag selbst steht den Studierenden zur freien Verfügung. Darüber hinaus können die Studierenden an Standführungen, Bewerbungsunterlagen Coachings oder Dialogrunden mit Fach- und Führungskräften teilnehmen.
