Nominees for FAU Award for Doctoral Supervision 2026
Dear fellow doctoral researchers at FAU,
We are delighted to announce the second edition of the FAU Award for Doctoral Supervision, an initiative of your Doctoral Researchers’ Representation, recognising outstanding doctoral supervision at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. This award aims to honour supervisors who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to supporting doctoral researchers in their academic development and engage with them appreciatively.

We have already kicked off the screening and vetting of these nominees.
The award will be handed out once per faculty at this year’s doctoral graduation ceremony of FAU on 11 July 2026.
