International newcomers of FAU can sign up for the Buddy Program and then get assigned to a student of FAU, which is to them a first friend in the new environment. You can be that friend: you show your Buddy Erlangen, Nuremberg and the region, you help at first questions and maybe with her/his move-in and initial difficulties, but first of all you get to know each other and have fun together. We share buddy partners only within the faculties. You can indicate on the registration form, where you prefer your buddy to come from or what language she/he should speak. At our Buddy meetings you get to know many other international students. You carry no official responsibility for your buddy, you’re a friend who helps!
