PROMOS scholarships for studies abroad

The Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology in 2016 offers the following PROMOS scholarships to finance stays abroad outside the Erasmus space (with the exception of language and specialist courses that can be funded worldwide):

– Partial scholarships and / or funding of travel expenses for freemover study visits (no visits at FAU partner universities); minimum duration: 1 month
– Partial scholarships and / or funding of travel expenses for the preparation of theses; minimum duration: 1 month
– Partial scholarships and / or funding of travel expenses and / or tuition fee packages for language courses at public and private universities (especially for students in degree programs about Asia or the Middle East and / or not commonly spoken languages); minimum stay: 3 weeks and lessons typically 25 hours per week
– Partial scholarships and / or funding of travel expenses and / or tuition fee packages for specialized courses (no lecture and conference trips) offered by universities or scientific organizations; minimum stay: 3 weeks (max 6 weeks)
– Partial scholarships and / or funding of travel expenses for internships; minimum duration: 6 weeks.

Deadline for stays abroad between 1 June 2016 and 1 December 2016 is 13 June 2016.

Please submit your application for the PROMOS scholarships of the faculty to Kerstin Maurer at the International Office of the Faculty. The decision on the award of grants shall take the PROMOS-selection committee of the faculty.
