Workshop – Intercultural Training – Special Asia
12.11.2012 – Welcome Centre 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Living in another country is strongly connected to intercultural experience. Intercultural competence is a vital prerequisite for a successful stay abroad. The workshop “Intercultural communication for visiting scholars at Friedrich-Alexander-University” aims at raising awareness for intercultural situation and making cross-cultural contacts easier.
One focus will be communication in everyday situations in Germany (salutation, politeness, value system). This training is specially meant for guests from Asia (China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea…).
We will be happy to welcome you on November 12th, 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Welcome Centre,
Schloßplatz 1, top fl oor, 91054 Erlangen.

Interkulturelle Kompetenz ist eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für einen gelungenen Auslandsaufenthalt.
Der Workshop „Interkulturelle Kommunikation für Gäste der FAU“ soll ein Verständnis für kulturelle Zusammenhänge vermitteln und den Umgang miteinander erleichtern.
Ein Schwerpunkt wird die Kommunikation im deutschen Alltag sein (Begrüßung, Höflichkeit, Wertesystem). Das Training ist für unsere Gäste aus Asien gestaltet (China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea…).
Wir freuen uns auf Ihr Kommen am 12. November 2012, 17:00- 19:00 Uhr im Welcome Centre, Schlossplatz 1, Dachgeschoß, 91054 Erlangen.
