Deadline Approaching: 2020 Dan David Prize Scholarships

German-American Science Slam in Köln, 18. Mai 2020

It is a fun event with a succession of rapid-fire presentations featuring original research results by scientists in German or in English – on stage in front of a live audience. It is a chance to let personality shine in a 10-minute performance. Slammers deliver an exciting and approachable version of otherwise complex research. And they compete for the hearts and minds of the audience, whose applause determines the winner! You can learn more about last year’s slam here.

For the slam, six scientists are needed – three each from Germany and the United States – to share their passion for science with a broad and intercultural audience during this unconventional and enjoyable evening event.

The application deadline is Mar. 2, 2020.

You can find further information on the application and the event here.
