Save the date: 275th Anniversary Symposium of the FAU 18–19 January 2018
In 2018, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg will celebrate its 275th Anniversary. In honour of this occasion, and with the university’s long-standing experience in research in mind, the FAU will devote a two-day symposium to the future of research, and the research of the future.

FAU invites interested researchers to take part in this journey into the future which will concern itself with the future of science, what its challenges in the globalized, digitized world will be, what role it will play in the 21st century, and whether this role will change. Keynote Speakers Prof. Dr. Harald zur Hausen and Brian Kobilka, MD are already confirmed to be among the eminent scientists who will make for fascinating lectures.
