Die FAU lädt Sie herzlich ein zum FAU Postdoc-Day „How to Become a Professor“ digital über Zoom, Teil 1 am Montag, 05. Juli 2021, 14:00-18:00 Uhr; Teil 2 am Freitag, 09. Juli 2021, 10:00-14:00 Uhr.
Unter dem Motto „How to Become a Professor“ werden die entscheidenden Faktoren für ein Karriereportfolio für die Universitätslaufbahn adressiert, Einblicke in das üblicherweise hinter verschlossenen Türen stattfindende „Vorstellungsgespräch“ ermöglicht und die derzeitigen Qualifizierungswege zur Professur diskutiert. Sie partizipieren außerdem an den Erfahrungen unserer FAU-Professor/-innen.
- Wie entwickle ich mein Karriereportfolio für eine erfolgreiche Berufung?
- Was erwartet mich im Gespräch mit dem Berufungsausschuss? Wie kann ich mich erfolgreich präsentieren und zielführend vorstellen?
- Welcher Qualifizierungsweg zur Professur ist für mich geeignet?
- Welche Service-Einrichtungen gibt es für Postdocs an der FAU?

The FAU invites you to the FAU Postdoc-Day „How to Become a Professor“ via Zoom, part 1 on Monday, 05th July 2021, 2 pm to 6 pm; part 2 on Friday, 09th July 2021, 10 am to 2 pm.
With the motto ‘How to become a professor’, the event will address the factors that are decisive for a career portfolio for an academic career at a university, provide insights into the ‘job interview’ that usually takes place behind closed doors and discuss the current options for qualifying as a professor. You are also welcome to share the experiences of FAU professors.
- How can I develop my career portfolio so that my application for a professorship is successful?
- What can I expect in the meeting with the appointment committee? How can I present myself successfully and introduce myself effectively?
- Which path to becoming a professor is suitable for me?
- Which services are available for postdocs at FAU?
