The Yidan Prize Foundation is a global philanthropic educational foundation. Through their prize and network of innovators, they support ideas and practices in education—specifically, ones with the power to positively change lives, systems, and society. The Yidan Prize is the world’s highest education accolade. Each year, it is awarded to individuals or teams of up to three members in two areas: Education Research and Education Development.
The prizes are designed for impact: Yidan Prize laureates receive a project fund of HK$ 15 million over three years, helping them scale up their work, as well as a gold medal, and a cash prize of HK$ 15 million (shared equally for teams). Laureates also join their Council of Luminaries, using their collective voice and wisdom to shape tomorrow’s education. They recognize changemakers already making an impact, and provide them with resources to amplify their reach.
Nominations for the 2022 Yidan Prize will close on 31 March 2022, 12 pm Hong Kong time (5 am German time).
