Blog contributions for www.research-in-bavaria.de!
Together with FAU, the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts has developed the web portal www.research-in-bavaria.de.
With this portal, they want to inform international PhDs and Postdocs about research opportunities at Bavarian universities. But work is only one part of the equation. It is just as important to show international researchers what kind of life awaits them in Bavaria. With the blog “My new life in Bavaria”, they feature small anecdotes written by international researchers and hope to prepare researchers for life in Bavaria as soon-to-be locals.

They are looking for: young international researchers based at universities here in Bavaria, interested in contributing small texts and photos to the blog (see examples below)
Topics: your hobbies, discoveries, favorite places in the city, sports, traditions and festivities, excursions, afternoons passed on the playground with your kids…
In short: everything you like to do in your city or region can be of interest.

As you see, texts are rather short, and a selection of good photos and a pinch of humour can make a nice contribution!
