Call for Nominations: Bayer Foundation 2024 Early Excellence in Science Awards and Otto Bayer Award
Bayer Foundation invites you to nominate young scientists for the
2024 Early Excellence in Science Awards.
With the Early Excellence in Science Awards (EESA), Bayer Foundation honors young scientists with an outstanding scientific career up to a maximum seven years after completing their PhD (Please note: parental leave taken during this period is not counted towards the seven year limit). The candidates can be of any nationality and working at any academic institution worldwide. The awards are given in the categories Biology, Chemistry, Medical Sciences and Data Sciences, each with 10,000 € prize money.
Please complete the online nomination form by May 6th, 2024 at the latest. You can nominate more than one candidate in total, but only one candidate for each category.
Early Excellence in Science Awards_2024
Furthermore, Bayer Foundation invites you to nominate a distinguished scientist working in a German-speaking country to receive the
2024 Otto Bayer Award.
With the Otto Bayer Award, Bayer Foundation honors scientists who have made pioneering research contributions within the fields of chemistry and biochemistry. The award, with 75,000 € prize money, is one of the most distinguished scientific awards in German-speaking countries.
For your nomination please use the online form here. Please fill out the form by May 6th, 2024. The Foundation’s Science Council will thoroughly screen all nominations and decide on this year’s winner.
The Otto Bayer Award and the Early Excellence in Science Awards will be handed over to the winners at the next Bayer Foundation Science Awards Celebration beginning of 2025.
