The Hans Böckler Foundation offers scholarships to foreign doctoral candidates from all countries, especially from the global south in the fields of Economics, Social Sciences and Humanities.
Dieter Schumacher International PhD Scholarship
The program enables outstanding international young doctoral candidates in Economics under the age of 30 to conduct a 12-24 months-stay at a German university or research institute.
Ute and György Széll International Scholarship
The program enables outstanding international doctoral candidates in Social Sciences and Humanities to conduct a six months-stay at a German university, research institute, foundation or archive. There is no age-limit.
