NEO2023 – The Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion Innovation Award for Innovative Materials
The use of innovative materials with sustainable or smart properties is crucial for a sustainable and resource efficient future. The TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe is honoring innovative materials with smart and/or sustainable properties with this year’s Innovation Award. With this award, the TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe is seeking for examples in which the use of such materials makes a positive contribution to sustainable development.
NEO2023 assessment criteria:
- Original guiding principles: developments based on a convincing core idea, which can be conveyed to the general public.
- Marketability: innovative products, services and business models that can be marketed.
- Social relevance and international potential: innovations that help to solve challenges currently facing society and have the potential to be applied internationally.
Apply with a brief description of your innovation in German or English by Monday, July 10, 2023. Up to ten candidates will be shortlisted and asked to submit more details about their innovation. The jury of experts will then choose up to five of these entrants to attend the award ceremony on November 30, 2023 in the Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion.
