CfA: 4th EELISA Joint Call for inter-institutional activities

With a total budget of €130,000, this call aims to support activities that foster collaboration across EELISA institutions, focusing on innovative approaches to address complex societal challenges in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

General Objectives
This Joint Call is designed to promote interdisciplinary and transnational activities within EELISA Communities. The supported activities should utilize innovative teaching methods, such as Challenge-Based Learning (CBL), to enhance higher education and contribute to solving global challenges. Activities can vary in format, including seminars, workshops, summer schools, or graduate courses, and must involve at least three EELISA partners from different member states.

Who Can Participate?
EELISA Communities are interdisciplinary, mission-driven groups composed of students, teachers, researchers, companies, NGOs, start-ups, and public authorities. These groups work collaboratively to tackle societal issues, with participants earning EELISA Credentials as recognition of their engagement and impact.

Special Collaboration with KNU

The recent addition of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU) as an associate partner expands the opportunity for collaborative projects, especially those addressing challenges related to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Proposals involving KNU as a co-organizer are particularly encouraged, especially those addressing challenges arising from the war in Ukraine. Projects that collaborate with KNU members and focus on issues such as energy provision, ecological assessment, and radiation security will receive an additional 10-point rating in the evaluation process.

Funding and Support
The maximum funding per activity is €10,000, covering both organizational and participation costs. Proposals that include supplementary funding should clearly indicate this to avoid double funding.
