Call for Participation: JoTTO Fair in February 2023!

Up to 5 FAU-students & researchers can now apply for the JoTTO Fair, which takes place in Lucca, near Pisa, Italy on 23rd February 2023. The event is organized by Italy’s six elite universities.

JoTTO FairFair is the meeting event where the research carried out at the six Italian Schools for Advanced Studies that take part in JoTTO meets the Business world. JoTTO FairFair is now at its third edition and aims at becoming a stable meeting between research and industry. During the event, research groups of the six Schools will present their scientific results in the form of a pitch and they will be available to meet companies and investors who want to explore and evaluate opportunities for collaboration.

The European network EELISA, of which the FAU is a member, will take part in the event with the “EELISA UNFOLDS” project, dedicated to the development of student entrepreneurship. On 24th February 2023, the Startup Championship will take place, in which one startup from each of the scuola normales and EELISA partners, including one of the FAU, will pitch. You will be part of the audience and get to listen to the pitches and connect with the start-ups afterwards.

Appointments with research groups and companies or investors will be managed through the free online platform B2Match. Once registered on the portal, researchers and companies will be able to enter their profiles describing their areas of research and interest in order to plan meetings during the event. All meetings and pitches will take place in Lucca at Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca.
