Blue Europe 2022 “Robert Schuman” writing contest: deadline extended!
Blue Europe is a non-profit, private, independently funded think tank situated in Luxembourg. Its mission is to reignite and strengthen links between Western, Central, and Eastern Europe. It is comprised of numerous organizations, which cooperate with each other. It wishes to increase public awareness of European concerns throughout the European Union’s peoples as much as possible. To do this, the board has decided to hold again a scientific paper contest. The contest is an excellent opportunity for you to boost your profile visibility and display your knowledge to the public.
The contest is open to all EU and EEA students and recent graduates (academic year 2022). You can submit an article on the following subjects: Law, Diplomatic Sciences, Economics, Econometrics, Public Policies, Governance, Politics, Information Technology, Business, Technology, Geopolitics, Geography, Infrastructure and History. Articles must deal with – at least partially – Central and Eastern Europe. These two criteria are cumulative.
The winner will receive a prize of 500€. The competition has already begun on December 15, 2022. All entries (full article) must be submitted by May 31, 2023 the latest. Finalists will be notified on June 30, 2023. The organizing committee may decide to extend the deadlines, if necessary.
As of now, all Blue Europe 2022 Writing Contest dates are as follows:
- 15.12.2022: Beginning of the contest;
- 30.04.2023: Submission deadline for draft articles & reviewers´ comments;
- 31.05.2023: Submission deadline for full articles;
- 30.06.2023: Finalist announcement;
- 10.07.2023: Winner announcement;
- By 31.08.2023: Payment of the prize.
To participate, you must have attended a certified university. You can participate either with a full paper or with an abstract. All articles that fulfil the minimum requirements will be published both on the Blue Europe website and in the 2022 Blue Europe Yearbook.
