DFG Prospects: the Walter Benjamin Programme (in English) – online talk on 23.05. at 4:30 p.m.
With the Prospects – Online Talk Series on DFG Funding Opportunities for Research Careers, the DFG – Germany’s largest independent research funding organisation – offers an overview of all funding instruments for the time after the PhD as well as specific focus talks on the Walter Benjamin Programme, the Emmy Noether Programme and the Heisenberg Programme.
Doctoral and postdoctoral researchers are invited to join!
Prospects: The Walter Benjamin-Programme
You are about to finish your dissertation or have recently finished and are planning your next career steps in academia? In this talk, you will get first-hand information about the DFG, the goals of the Walter Benjamin-Programme, its eligibility requirements and the type, extend and duration of the funding. You will also learn about the two different funding schemes of the Walter Benjamin programme, one for funding in Germany and the other for funding abroad. The decision process of the DFG will also be explained and participants will receive important advice on how to prepare their proposals. After the talk, members of the DFG will be happy to answer participants‘ questions.
