BMBF workshop series „The Gender Dimension in Research“: Next workshop on November 16!
In 2021, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) launched a workshop series on the gender dimension in research. The workshop series aims to support the implementation of gender equality in research and innovation in Europe, and to inspire researchers and research managers to address gender issues in their projects.
Next workshop
The next workshop in the series will take place on November 16, 2023 – online as always, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., CET. The workshop „Achieving a culture of equity – Sex and Gender in Research on Culture and Creativity“ will give on an overview of gender aspects in Horizon Europe, then present some EU project examples from this field of research, thus making it more concrete what „gender dimension in research“ may mean. The event ends with the presentation of possible next steps on the way to handing in a proposal.
Registration for the event is possible until November 15 (noon).
Further editions of this workshop series are foreseen for 2024, each focusing on another thematic area with relevance to Horizon Europe. Stay tuned by joining the newsletter (in German) or visiting this website.
