Dr. Johannes Fürst is scientific associate at the Institute for Geography, Department of Geography and Geosciences of the FAU and FAU Junior Research Group Leader. In 2020, he was awarded an ERC Starting Grant for his project „FRAGILE: Next generation framework for global glacier forecasting“.

In a highly informal context, we invite “role models” of the FAU and FAU alumni to give short talks for early career researchers at FAU. Our 45-minute lunch talks are highly interactive and participants have the opportunity to pose their questions to the speakers. Talks take place in English – unless decided otherwise among participants – and online via Zoom.
