Deadline 14.05.2013: Kulturelle Vielfalt im Promotionsprozess – Cultural diversity in the PhD process
Das Projekt qualiko LBF am Institut für Interkulturelle Kommunikation der Universität Hildesheim bietet einen Workshop zum Thema »Kulturelle Vielfalt im Promotionsprozess« an.
Er thematisiert, ob und wie kulturelle Vielfalt im Promotionsprozess relevant wird. Im Fokus stehen seine unterschiedliche Phasen: Literatur- / Feldzugang & Datenerhebung, Methode & Analyse sowie Erstellung & Präsentation. Eigene Forschungserfahrungen der Teilnehmenden werden während des gesamten Workshops und in speziellen Slots (siehe PDF) Arbeits- und Diskussionsgrundlage liefern.
Herzlich eingeladen sind Promovierende aller Disziplinen und Hochschulen, damit eine interdisziplinäre Zusammensetzung den produktiven Austausch fördert.

The project qualiko LBF at the institute for intercultural communication of the university Hildesheim offers a workshop entitled »Cultural diversity in the PhD process«
It deals with the question whether and how cultural diversity is relevant in the process of doing a PhD. The discussion will focus its various phases: literature research / field entry, & data collection, method & analysis, writing & presenting the thesis. Personal experience will constitute the working basis throughout the two days and in specific slots (see PDF).
Doctoral students from all disciplines and universities are kindly welcome. An interdisciplinary group is a desirable prerequisite for a productive exchange.
